With support from their mother, Yahia and Youssef transformed their love for lavander into an innovative eco-friendly venture that blends technology with sustainability.
The brothers developed car filters that incorporate lavander in the exhaust purification process, helping convert emissions into cleaner, naturally scented air—an inventive contribution to pollution reduction.
To fund their environmental project, they launched a small business offering healthy food and sweets, including diabetic-friendly treats, all featuring a lavander-inspired aesthetic in both color and flavor—blending taste with health awareness.
This initiative falls under the umbrella of Lavander Life Group, founded and led by Dr. Mai El-Darawy. The group is dedicated to supporting socially and environmentally impactful projects and promoting entrepreneurship from an early age.
The project received official support from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA), affiliated with the Egyptian Cabinet, in recognition of its entrepreneurial spirit and environmental impact.
It garnered wide media attention, including coverage in newspapers and on television.
The project also earned praise and recognition from international organizations focused on environmental innovation and community-driven solutions.
